Good Morning Early Birds!

Saturday. No air movement, but wall to wall cloud. not looking good for outdoor activities.

Tiggy had half his supper then wandered off for a few hours, then came back and finished it off.

some out and about to do today, but it shouldn't take long. Last time I said that I was out all day!

hello all. looks dry out there at the moment. hope it stays that way.

rained all day yesterday so did not get in garden..changed curtains etc to cream ..but because I now have carpet down they were dragging on the floor so had to lop off a few inches and re hem..took most of the day !

had a call from aunt last night my uncle , dad's younger brother, is in hossie very ill with pancreatic cancer and chest infection...will have to tell mum today but will not take her in to see him..too much too soon..not looking good though....

Oh dear. that's the last thing mum needs. Or you! Life can be a real *** at times.

will have to telll her before someone phones her..would not if it were up to me , but one of dad's brothers will phone mum..best coming from me..going up this morning to take her out for the day, a wee run to Peebles ...she went to club last night which I am pleased about

sorry to hear that minty. as boaty says that sort of news is the last thing your mum wants right now. well never but especially now. did you have no idea of ill he was?

boaty i'm fine thanks. OH was still breathing when i got up so i presume he is okay.

this uncle is a bit of a lone wolf, he turns up at funerals etc..has popped in a few times over the last few years..has had a slight stroke in the past but had bounced back was driving again...no idea about the cancer..aunt will find out today as she is going into hossie..I will visit but do not intend taking mum in

Good thinking minty. I don't think there would be anything to gain by telling mum at the moment. She doesn't need anything like it now.

looking quite nice out there so is a good day for a wee jaunt out, will bring her back here and oh will take her home around 9pm...want her to go to church and the tea after tomorrow morning or I would get her to stay over, more important she socialises though
