Halifax son has done his Maths GCSE this year (he's just finished Year 9) and is predicted to get a grade B.

I want to give him a reward for trying so hard after having to put up with years of bullying. I'm not sure how much though?! I want it to be a real treat but I'm thinking of the next few years and how many more GCSE passes I might need to pay out for!

What would you give?

I didn't get anything either - my father offered me a bike if I did well - I did well, but I wanted to anyway. The bike was a bonus.

Halifaxmum, congrats to your son. did he get a B or was that a predicted grade?

he's done really well for a year 9!

sara - thanks! - we haven't found out yet - i'll ask school when he goes back. He sat last year's GCSE paper as a practice and got a B, so I'm hopeful!

He's quite relaxed about the whole thing - but I'm so proud after the last few years of trouble :-)
