well there was a big hoo haa on the news last week saying that pregnant women shouldn't drink anything alcoholic. So not only do they take everything nice to eat away ,brie, pate ,peanuts etc were not allowed to taste a single drop of alcohol.
Men get it so easy dont they spanner? lol
I agree you shouldnt drink loads whilst pregnant and i didnt drink any with both my pregnancies but what about these people who dont know they are pregnant till a few months in and have been out drinking every weekend? i think the odd tipple will be fine
With my daughter, I didnt have it confirmed til I was 4 months. Not only was I drinking at the weekends, I was smoking too!
I have to admit though, alcohol was one of the things I went off!
Why not have a bucks fizz and then you feel like you are having something healthy at the same time!
psychick, I have already decided I'm coming back as a man in my next life.

Personally cockney_si I dont think a little bit for a special occasion will hurt. They had no evidence to suggest it would harm the baby and I think as long as your over the 12 weeks and dont go on a binge you'll be ok. Only another 21 weeks to go until I can have that brie and bacon sandwhich I have craved since week 4!!!!!
