With my best friend walking to our Catholic school....remember contraception was forbidden....

C.....Gness, did you know that men have periods?
G....No!
C....Yes.....I found these "things" in my parent's bedroom cabinet.....I asked my Mum what they were for and she said men have to use them once a month when they have their period.....

Lord I was a confused teenager.....☺☺
My sister dated one Jean-Claude Condom..... 'Jesus Christ's Flunky' as we called him....then I went out with one Virginie Fouquet )a lovely girl by the way, a blonde, rare for a French gal!
Lol gness.
I attended a convent school, where two girls were expelled in the third year for running away from home (!) oh, and having copious sex and not bothering hiding the fact. And my mother would far rather have had her children endure unhappy hasty marriages than be thought of as having had joyous sex outside of marriage. She modelled this for us by having a thoroughly miserable marriage.
I well recall her threatening me with eviction of I ever turned up pregnant, which at the age of 12 was baffling, uncalled for and unlikely.
What a bonkers generation they were, Gness.
Oh and sex education at the convent....well, we did the reproductive system of flowers. End of.
And I recall one girl sitting her A-level exams with an enormous 8-month bump, so she must have picked lots of flowers.

Bonkers indeed....my mother and all her siblings were pregnant when they married.....but the look on my mother's face if anyone she knew did the same put a cat's bottom in the shade....x
