Our mp, Mark Harper has broken his foot. Apparently he was dancing on a table in a Soho nightclub, he fell off. Is this appropriate behaviour?

In a nightclub, definitely.
Sounds okay to me, is there a problem over it?
My MP keeps inviting me to coffee mornings, I wish she would fall off a table and break her neck.
Mrs Harper may have something to say about it.
I think that is absolutely disgusting, the tables should be much safer, maybe even even a safety net around.

I don't think it's appropriate behaviour for an mp, he is not very popular in our town as he voted to sell off our forest so this will not help his cause.
Question Author
Mrs Harper was there, she. Didn't appear to be very happy about it.
I don't see why MP's can't let their hair down and enjoy themselves.
Question Author
They are in a position of responsibility and as such should show they are capable of holding that position without embarrassing their constituents
Why isn't it? He's an MP,he's allowed to enjoy himself even though the enjoyment may be injurious to his pedal extremities.
Seriously, it sounds like a good time was had by all. Life is short......enjoy it.

Sorry don't agree but let's agree to disagree!
I'd fall off a table any time with our MP, the rather fit Julian.
Craft, I'd give my MP a push.
Why would his constituents be embarrassed?
Yes - shows a 'human' side
If he was pole dancing in the nuddie or had paid for lap dances, then I would agree but just having a night out? with his missus? what is the problem?
if he is off duty, not doing any kind of MP work, which presumably he wasn't.
craft...tell me you don't mean Julian Lewis please!!!!
He's the MP for the Forest of Dean isn't he?
Sorry to appear callous but I find the whole idea very funny :-)

I do hope his foot gets better soon though.
