You've Got To Laugh Haven't You?
News0 min ago
My 28 mth old has always been a good sleeper, quiet as soon as you put him down, not stirring until 7am. All of a sudden he won't settle - trying every trick in the book to get us up. We have tried going in and not saying anything and just lying him down, and controlled crying but neither seems to be working.
He is also waking a couple of times in the night and waking up at 6am. He says he is not scared and is not poorly - we don't know what else to try. ANY SUGGESTIONS will be gratefully received

I read with mine for 10-15 minutes every night before saying good night. After the story, try sitting outside the room where he can see you until he is asleep but gradually move further away every evening over a week or two. It's annoying, but that worked when mine pulled the same stunt.
Regarding the waking - is he toilet trained yet? If he is in the day but not at night, it may be that which is disturbing him. Don't give him drinks just before bedtime and make sure he goes to the toilet.
You could also have a chat with your Health Visitor - mine was really helpful with the odd problems we had.
Good luck!
