hi,my lil girl is 9 and haf months old. she used to be a really good sleepper. 12hours a night at least from 9weeks old. had a few rough patches but its to be expected. for past three weeks she has been waking up at least 3times a night screaming, really really upset, tears, sobbing, rally sudden. for 2nights im almost positive it was teething pain as she cut her 3rd tooth few days later. im not sure if she is now waking through habit os not. im going crazy here as really dont know what to do!
any advice would be appreciated.

im a health visitor in my experience it all depends on wot you are doing when she wakes if you are giving cuddles and perhaps a drink to try and settle her then yes at the beginning there would of been a problem ie teething etc but babies soon become used to the cuddles and the warm drink and will wake for this my advice to you is to ensure your baby falls asleep in her cot alone and if she wakes keep the stimulation to a minimum no cuddles, drinks and make sure baby is in her own room. If it doesnt improve contact you rhealth visitor thats what we are there for
Gem - you've only got 1 answer because Pepper gave the best advise. I would have said the same. You've got to be cruel to be kind. A tired, ratty Mum is no good to anyone!
