I've just been cleaning my front windows (inside) and saw the postie approach the door. I gave him a cheery wave as he put the mail through the letterbox. I was livid when I found that amongst the bills was a "we couldn't deliver your item" card. I now face a 3 mile trip to the sorting office to collect a packet, grrrrrrrr!
I've already made one complaint about him. We received a letter saying that he had complained about our dog going for him and if it happened again they would stop delivering.
We have never owned a dog or even had a dog visiting!
He put your delivery in your food waste bin?? Euugghhh!! Even the cat doesn't go near our food waste bin outside.
Give em what for Mrs_O and make sure you bring up the imaginary dog. lol.
I think I'm the only person in the world who likes my postie. (the one at work anyway). He's a miserable bugger but he's always nice and early and if he has anything that needs to be signed for one of the other units, he always drops our normal post in the office for us too which saves me the walk up to the post box on a cold morning.
Why would the system get the postman to deliver a "couldn't deliver" card, that is more sensibly left by someone actually trying to deliver the parcel? That would be totally insane. I lose faith in authority on a daily basis, but surely authority ability hasn't, indeed couldn't, have fallen that far?
the postman did that to me the other day, never even tried to ring the bell, just posted the delivery slip through the door. I stood outside ranting for a full 15 mins until I got over it.
