Hi all
Just a quick question or two!
IF the people at the Child Support agency decide that a non resident parent doesnt have to pay child maintenance for their children because he is not earning enough (self employed I might add). how long does this decision stand for?
Is there an automatic review after a certain amount of time ?
(Im wondering if there is an automatic review as i dont want to be the troublemaker again by asking for this to be looked at again, He currently hasn't been reassessed for over 2 years)
Many thanks.
I dont think you will get anything at all from the Child Support Agency. My ex also went self employed and never paid anything. The CSA are absolutely rubbish. He will get off scot free and wont pay a penny.
i have no faith in the CSA either, never have and never will.
but just wondered if there was an automatic review system, have looked at my paperwork seems i can ask for a review if theres a big change in his income/circumstances, but funnily enough I am not privvy to that information! oh well, will carry on bringing up his children without his help. but thanks for your help x
Not worth wasting your time _ my ex ,after 8/9 years of avoiding paying a penny has finally been ordered to pay - £5 a fortnight!! As he says he is too ill to work, yet earns a fortune cash in hand. Ive even told them where he works!!
my ex had to pay fiver a week when he was on jsa. You could ring and ask themfor review but say you dont want him to think it was you, they could just say its periodic review?
