Well thanks to my brother who forgot he'd got to come to Birmingham to pick me up (not allowed to drive with dodgy knee) last night and went for a drink instead - and the couldn't pick me up this morning as he was out at 4.30am on the fishing boat....so I'm stuck on my own.....no doggies (already down in Devon) no hubby (Frankfurt until Thursday) Major and Leah on holiday - together!! in Jersey...can't be bothered to do lunch just for me........not allowed in the garden in case i fall, (again dodgy knee)
Hi Mercia
I always think good moan does you good, hope you find something to while away your time, will said brother picking you up tomorrow ? next time it might be better to check with him before the event if he is that forgetful. I hope he has said sorry.
was that comment necessary mcfluffy? I've had a few hard knocks this last month, I come on here for a little light relief - the smiley mouth after does nothing to temper the sentiments behind the comment.
Mercia rise above it and carry on regardless, you have friends on here so one post shouldn't get to you, there are more people who like you than the other way around, try to remember this x
bless you Bobbi - what would I do without you! BI signed myself out of hospital - i didn't eat for 5 daysoxtops- my dodgy knee the one I had a pin put in took it upon itself to get an infection in it, (thankyou district nurse!!) and swell with fluid - they took away over 2 litres of fluid in the end and it's been very painful as the antibiotics they gave me didn't work. I've cured myself with manuka honey i didn't eat in hospital for 5 days vile pap they serve!!
I've thought about something you could do....how about finding yourself a nice avatar, perhaps a big cake, or summat cooking-related? The jellymen don't really do you justice.
Btw, I agree with the Bobbmeister. I didn't see the removed comment but I think Bobbs is right. It's only a very small group who can't resist having a pop. Best ignored.
yes, your Dad said when he was on, you really seem to be feeling low, not surprising having been in hospital, makes things look even worse when really it's not, smile and pour yourself a nice drink, if not now, then later, sitting behind a keyboard can be so easy so "pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start all over again" Mercia :-)
