I am out for lunch with some rellies & oldies to say bon voyage to a cousin of my mother who I have never met. He cared for his wife with severe Alzheimer's for years until she died 2 years ago. Now the old boy has met an american lady (a vicar) with a ranch in Texas - they are getting married & he is going out there to live with her. He's 78. Good on him - I'm going to have a drink with him (after introducing myself first!) then shake his hand & wish him well.

I have just had a shortbread biscuit and two chocolate/stem ginger biscuits. I believe in a good healthy lunch!! ;o)

Because there's nothing really in and I can't be bothered to walk to the shops. I'm not being lazy. I've already walked 5 miles this morning and have to do it again soon so I'll get my stuff on the way back. By which time though it'll be too late to eat or I won't eat my dinner.
