Buy to Let

Me and a friend of mine have got 3 buy-to-let properties between us, as well as having full time jobs.
Our plan is to buy more houses for buy-to-let purposes, but we are unsure whether to turn this venture into a proper business and set ourselves up as a company.
Advice and opinion gladly received!
Thinking mainly of tax and liability issues
