can anyone tell me who the banks & building society's are in hbos and are barclay's connected to any other banks

Here is a table which gives you the answers as to who owns which brands, If the owner is the same then the �35k compensation rule applies to all savings regardless of brand.

We have been offered Open Offer Shares at 113.6 pence, to be exchanged for 0.605 ordinary shares in Lloyds TSB in January. On the open market, HBOS shares are about 70p, Lloyds TSB shares about 127p....

Lloyds and HBOS

Why did Lloyds take over HBOS? Were they having difficulties in the recession? Was one performing better than the other? I cant seam to find the answer to this question online Thanks Jp...

Director of HBOS?

Was I hearing things yesterday, when the ex Director of HBOS said he'd had no experience or qualifications in Banking, but he was still employed and payed 60.000 a MONTH as an advisor.
