The temperature is rising steadily, it's risen a degree while I've been typing.
Out of the blue, I had a text message from a friend of many years standing yesterday, informing me that he's going to pick me up at noon and take me to lunch at the TA. I'm happy with that!

i am going to have a tough start to the year as a benefit i was expecting has been turned down, so will have to go through the rigmarole of filling in more forms, and if that is turned down then a tribunal...

Been there, done that. But to be fair, they are trying to weed out scammers.

i got no points at all on the assessment which shocked me and now will have to reassess money going out. the knock on effect is that i have a lot less money coming in.
