Met Office 27 degrees and full sun here (just looked it up)

Reality Thunder and lightening, about time all funding to the Met Office was stopped since they clearly cannot tell what the weather will be like in the current let alone the future!

You might as well stick your head out the window. To be fair tho our island geography off the edge of a continent and at the mercy of the gulf steam doesn't make it easy. Even with a multi million pound kompewter.
To be fair, predicting weather over a small land mass like ours is notoriously difficult.

Weather patterns that appear to be moving in a predictable pattern can suddenly veer off course, or something else can swing in very quickly without warning - remember Michael Fish's famous 'hurricane denial'?
Really hot and sunny here in Northants....

But other forecasts have it right??

Perhaps they have not plugged in loads of lefty 'Climate Change' data to screw up the real data?

Torrents of rain now hear in the South.

*here* even
Is it that loud?
Damn.
Sigh...The weather forecast models have nothing to do with "lefty Climate Change data".
Yes, I've just seen a weather man tell me it's 26 degrees and sunny with showers where I am. We've had thunder, rain and thick clouds all morning. It doesn't feel like 26 degrees.
Don't expect the Met Office's replacement to be any better. All the weather websites I look at have about the same level of accuracy. If you insist on having predictable weather, try moving to the Sahara.
Yesterday's weather forecast for London said that it would be boiling hot today.

Today it's boiling hot.
I'm glad I'm not in the heatwave, tbh. I'm quite happy with the rain. 32c is just too hot.
I just find it funny that all the papers have warnings of the UK being in the midst of a heatwave, while it's really just the SE. They're very London-centric, I think.
Scorchio here too.

if sacking the Met gets us better weather, bring it on.
Cloverjo, were south of York and it was 31.5 a minute ago.
Depends on what part of the south you are in youngmafbog.

Although a couple of clouds have slinked in it is very hot and has been a fantastic day so far.

Boiling hot here on the South Coast. Covered in massive mozzie bites. Oh the misery.

Roll on the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.
Hot and sunny on Essex coast, got on my " It ain't half hot mum" shorts and pith helmet ready to walk to the shops.
I believe it starts on Thursday, ladybirder?
