Both a strange and at the same time deep question and one asked many many times before.

You physical body rots. If you have a spiritual existence then presumably you will find yourself elsewhere. You may call elsewhere whatever name you wish. Whether you believe of not is surely not the deciding factor; it is what is really so. And no one has managed to convince everyone of their view of that yet.

I believe that when we die the body will just rot as all dead things do. However I also believe that the spirit will go on. I believe that I would not have been promised these things by God if it had not been so. Of course I have no absolute proof, just a very strong belief.
