In advance to today's EU leader's summit in Brussels regarding the migrants from North Africa problem, do you agree with what seems to me to be sensible solutions.

Except of course for David Cameron's insistence in supporting an increased search-and-rescue policy, even though this is opposed by both his Home and Foreign secretaries.

/// But it is understood that the British prime minister was facing stiff opposition from his own home secretary, Theresa May, and his foreign secretary, Philip Hammond, in his intention to support the expansion of search-and-rescue operations at the summit beyond the limited Triton measures agreed on Monday. ///

/// May and Hammond were said on Wednesdaynot to be budging from their belief that such rescue operations would create a “pull factor” and lead to more deaths by encouraging more migrants to risk the dangerous sea crossing. ///

Since there are currently 28 European Union countries and 5,000 immigrants to be taken in that should work out as roughly 180 immigrants for each country, so that can't be too much of a stretch on our resources then, can it?
I believe are resources are pretty well taut as they are!!
A lot of these economic migrants want to go to Sweden for some strange reason, and the Swedes seem happy enough to have them and pay for them.Sorted.Just load up a dozen large ferry boats with these people and take them to Stockholm and dump them onto the ever loving, ever gullible Swedes.

Seems like Sweden have changed their tune and found a use for them that we don't know about!!

Ha-ha,retrocop.Let the Swedes suffer just as badly as us in the UK have had to put up with regarding mass uncontrolled immigration.

Interesting link, and a Guardian one at that.

/// In Germany, meanwhile, where the extreme right has failed to make inroads, the political sensation of the summer has been the taboo-busting, bestselling book by Thilo Sarazzin, a former Berlin central banker. ///

/// He claims that the country is digging its own grave by admitting waves of immigrants he characterises as spongers, welfare cheats, and sub-intelligent beings copulating their way from ethnic minority to takeover majority. ///
I still believe the "rivers of blood" speech was not the ravings of a loony, racist, bigot but the prophecy of an extremely intelligent man with great foresight. I wonder if he thought those rivers of blood might flow in the rest of Europe at the time he spoke those words.
