Anybody Else Having To Work?

So, we may (if we allow our selves to beleive the weather man) be having a proper british summer. Sustained settled weather, generally warm and sunny.

This new will have been received well by most I would assume?

Me, well I have just finsihed my run of weekends off and my work commitments will see me working 5 out of the next 6 weekends!!!

I am currently sat in my office looking out at the lovely weather thinking about all the things in life that I am grateful for, or I my cry!!!

I'll be off to work at 2.00 until 9.30, but I can have a couple of hours in the garden this morning, same again tomorrow :(

Luckily ive got today off, but im in tomorrow from 6.30am till 4, so i'll pretty much miss it tomorrow.

No i'm not working but do sympathise jd1984 as from a psychological point of view it's horrible feeling like you're the only one working in a hot sweaty workplace whilst it seems the whole world is off and enjoying themselves, i'd base this similar as to being a child and being grounded big fun event which all the local kids are going to and you sitting by the window watching all the happy faces and wishing you were going.

Donme off during the week as it will be hot then too?

It is actually sunny here in Scotland but some eejit with a hammer is getting on my nerves.

jd - I remember having to work 12 hour days for 7 days for weeks and weeks. I was like a zombie working on autopilot.

I don't work so am able to spend the whole day sitting in the sun if I wish, I don't think it would be a good idea though as I burn very easily.
