After 3 weeks of really good sleeps, for me anyway, insomnia has returned with a vengeance, 3 and a half hours last night!

Dentist for Mrs BT today and me tomorrow.

Have a good day everybody.

ugh, insomnia is nasty.

Hope it's just check-ups at the dentist x

Morning alba, check for OH, filling for me, but not a problem, thanks for asking.
So far, nothing too drastic then :-)
When I was a nipper, after my check-up, the dentist would give me dolly mixtures, strange thing to do in retrospect..
Morning toffee and alba!
Yes, alba, he knew he was keeping himself in business! They are not stupid, these dentists!
Morning Alec xx {hugs} :-)

I can remember, in high school, people saying they wanted to become a nurse, doctor or a vet but never a dentist!! They are a strange breed indeed.
There are more suicides amongst dentists than any other profession. It must have something to do with inflicting all that pain!
Good grief!! I never knew that. That is really sad.
Morning BT albs xxx and Alec xxx Dentistry is not something I would like to do for a living.
It occasionally turns up in quizzes and I have a very long memory!
Nor me waterboatman. I don't mind admitting that I am half cut. Would anybody like a song played? On Mamya's thread, or on here, I don't care. Dad has been 'difficult' so far this morning, and is resisting going to bed, so I'm on here in case he falls or goes for another glass of sherry......it goes on!
Morning Boaty xxx
The pickled brisket we had yesterday is not something that we'll be doing again in this house.

Alec, you poor thing. (About dad being difficult this morning) It's hard, if not impossible to keep your chin up and stay strong.
Morning BT and all you cheerful lot...dentistry is not a great subject for me... Had too many painful experiences with 'em...finally did a trade union job.. One out, all out! Lost all fear of them now heh heh!
Pension day ... Ready for action to protect my honour in the battle line. Got to treat them lasses nice... don't want them tarring me with the Savile brush .. Oh dear no :-))
Nice day all...
Alec You have my sympathy dear girl. It's not easy for you.

Pickled brisket albs? I don't even like the sound of that! The roast pork we had was lovely, eve if I do say so myself. The appreciation of my guests was shown by their silence as they eat. The cleared plates said it even louder. It was a good evening.
I'm just used to it now. It's been going on since my Mum died in Oct '07. I suppose I take it for granted and shouldn't.
I must admit, I'd like to know what certain people are doing. The last time I visited Bedford, where I spent my youth, one of my friends had died and I'd sort of realized, but the truth hurt. Nobody had let me know!
Good morning everyone, Chucking filly here this AM. Must be about -2 mrs cook went blue in 2 mins when I put her outside. Sorry about the coffee this morning it is only Azera 'cos I ran out of ground last night.
British Gas coming to service the old boiler today 'tween 8 and 1 o'clock.
Please no funny comments about OH, that is my job! (just checking to make sure she is still asleep) Everybody OK?
LOL commoner, typical Barnsley lad!
Morning Comm xx
You do know the ladies get up earlier on a Monday to make sure they're ready for you.
How's Mrs Comm?

Boaty, it wasn't unpleasant, just different. I'm all for trying new things, sometimes even more than once :-)
Morning comm. I remember many years ago I was in a queue at the post office on a Monday morning, I wanted some stamps, A lady reached the counter ans started rummaging through her bag, putting various objects on the counter while searching for her pension book. A bloke a couple behind her had his pension book in his hand all ready, he said to the lady, 'Come on missus, this is a pay parade, not a kit inspection!' I thought that was brilliant!
Lol ...Alec you can take the lad out of Barnsley...but not the Barnsley out of the lad....;-/
Morning Dicky xx
What on earth makes you think we'd say anything about servicing the boiler and your good lady in the same sentence?!
