renting a room fair price.

Hi can anyone offer advice. My husband has just started a new job but it involves a lot of travelling up and down motorways. One of his co- workers has offered him a room he has spare. Bed only as he can get his own meals. It would probably be for three nights a week to break the travelling up. what would be the right price to ask. they both dont know as they have never done this befor. I don't have experience of this but maybe £20 a night or offer £50 for a 3 night week

Have no idea, but 15 quid a night might be a good place to start and they could then see how the electric/gas gets used/laundry etc for the bedding ?
