You should get paid on the working day before, in this case Friday. We get paid on the 18th of each month and if it falls on a weekend, like this month, it goes into our banks on the Friday before.

I maybe misreading your post but if you are due to get paid the day after the bank holiday, ie the Tuesday I would believe you will still get paid on the Tuesday. If you are due to get paid on Monday 26th you would get paid tomorrow Friday 23rd.

No because the banks process at midnight and won't be processing during the bank holiday. If you get paid on Tuesday, the money should be in on Friday.

The banks can cope with payments going into the accounts on the day after the Bank Holiday. I always prepare the payroll one day earlier and set the processing date (normally the day before the money is due in everyones accounts) to the Friday. This ensures that the money arrives on the due day namely the Tuesday. If the money is due on the Bank Holiday (or Saturday/Sunday) I always process the payroll so that it arrives in the employees bank account on the Friday.

It will definately be Tuesday, it makes no difference that Monday is a bank holiday. I worked for a Bank for 17 years so I do know what I am talking about.

BUT depending on who you Bank with, you should be able to access the cash on Saturday - definately if you bank with NatWest you will.
