1. yes. 2. restaurant critic.
Contented, too old to worry about changing and it pay the bills
As a pensioner I have at last found my ideal occupation, not really a lot to do and usually as much time as I need to do lt.

Been self-employed for a year or three now, took my Websites down from the 'net over the week end, have two jobs to finish, then I pack it all in for good! All before 63rd B'day in July.
So RM's for best part of 20 yrs, then Wage slave, then S/employed, now just about finished. Will be a Landlord now, tenants already in place.
When I was a kid I wanted, at one stage, to be the guy who lived at the back of a long line of freight cars in that little red house on wheels with a chimney on top. To be able to travel all over the country snugly sitting in there with my pot-bellied stove to cook on and nobody to bother me would be a perfect life.
stewey did your cho cho have a buffet car ?
yes.... fighter pilot
1. No I hate it. (It used to be good and would have been a Yes in those days.)
2. Bodyguard for the girls at the strip club.
No, anneasquith, because my choo choo would be what you call a goods train, so I would have to cook me beans, wieners, and toast on the trusty old pot-bellied stove which would also keep me warm and cozy during the long winter nights.
oh......................so no alcohol then ?
would you be the guy that throws the hobo's off, stewey?
Contented with occupation? Overall, yes. I have a comfortable living, I have a laugh every day I go in.
Am I in the occupation I always wanted? No.
What job would I have liked to have had? When I was younger I wanted to be a hairdresser. Now? I'd like to have enough money to be a lady of leisure. Go sight seeing & take in the history of places.
I wouldn't do any work at all; I'd just sit there sipping my own caboose-made beer and gaze out at the passing panoramic vista of the ever changing landscape.
When I was a child I wanted to be an interpreter, but after seeing all the cop shows now on the telly, I would have liked to have been a forensic scientist.
l loved the driving delivery jobs I had, but now retired, and just glad to have been employed for much of my working life.
What a life stewey!
Yes you were lucky cats, I'm lucky to have steady work too. I read this in the Metro this morning, so sad ... http://metro.co.uk/2014/05/20/worthless-job-hunter-dead-at-20-out-of-work-gardener-kills-himself-after-40-failed-applications-4734779/
Pack a bag, Elina, and I'll pick you up at the next whistle-stop and you can come sight seeing and history absorbing with me...Wooo hooo, wooo, hooo:)
Ha ha!!! Let's pretend, it's a nice fantasy. Hang on, I've just won loads of dosh stewey, I got to go shopping... ooh! & I'm stillworking down the cocktail list in Brown's ... ooh! & all those lovely Osprey bags ...Ooh & .... & ;0)
Thats very sad Elina, I expect he is not the only one to have felt that way. My stepson is in and out of work at the moment, its very distressing for those that want to work, but cant.
I read that on the bus this morning cats, I could cry for those that want to work & can't find it.
