God, I hate them!!  I think the only way to get rid of the b*ggers is to exercise, exercise, exercise..  Just got to tone them up!!
I've head the expression bat wings, but what are bingo wings - are they the same thing?
Question Author
Sadly Smudge, they are exactly the same thing. But now I have tried to convince myself they arnt as bad as they could be and I don't care! (although obvisouly I do really) :-)
whooosh, straight over my usually very worldly head..what are we talking about crypticaly here?
twiglet4frog, its the baggy bit of skin underneath your arm.  They are called bingo wings because all old dear's have them and when the shout "er ah" at a bingo hall and raise their arms...the skin wobbles from back and forth.

if you get a weight eg bean tin and hold it with both hands above your head and then bend your arms backwards from your elbow, so you are reaching to the bottom of you neck (but not necessarily touching it) that should tone them up. Ive got Davina's workout DVD and find it to be very good

hope this helps

xx

Hallo milly, probably not the answer you're looking for, but how about shouting "Bingo" without waving your arms in the air?
I am considering a cheese grater...

Thank you milly143 - I did wonder where Bingo came into it!

butter1 - your hilarious post on Bingo wings & old ladies really made me laugh!

Well, if I ever get them & start going to Bingo in my older years, I shall keep my arms firmly by my side - mind you, I wouldn't be able to contain myself if I won thousands!

just to depress you - at Live8, I noticed that even the fabulously toned Madonna had a bit of wobbling going on under her arms. They were very firm as they flapped in the wind, but they still flapped.
