Onwards and Downwards Continues in September 2015

Hello all,

Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

Well, the summer wasn't as hot as we expected was it? So perhaps it was less tempting to dip into the freezer for some ice cream :-)

Seasonal food available now includes cabbage, haddock, lamb, beetroot and chicory.

This looks really yummy and full of goodness, apart from the halloumi which you could cut out or substitute for a healthier version.

Morning all hope we have some good results . I have a good excuse but true .I cant get to my scales as I have had to shift things around and they are in bedroom cupboard and things in front of it as I am having new boiler and radiators tomorrow .
I too am in no position to weigh myself today, but with the week+ of excessive input I'm sure I've probably dropped a few stone.

Hmmmmmm after breakfast and lunch was weighed (swollen legs too) and up a pound. Will weigh myself here and check it out in the morning.
Thanks Xstitcher, I was just off to change it back actually as it was in response to the result of the labour leader and deputy elections! Might do it tomorrow now as I need to find a nice new teapot for the autumn.
I shall not believe it until Wednesday confirmation but : it seems being away from home and given all the wrong things like milk coffees and milk hot chocolates, and slices of cream cake, I get back and this morning the scales claim I've gone *DOWN* ! 8.4 lbs no less. Surely that is not possible over 10 days ? I'm beginning to think I know nothing about this dieting thing. Can't be all water surely ? I feel bigger.

Finally, the breakthrough that I've been impatiently waiting for...down 700 grams which is a little over a kilo. Waiting to hear good news from everyone today.

Morning all and going the right way xstitcher . I have stayed the same and quite happy with that it will come off next week I am sure as that is how my pattern of loss goes .

I knew it was too good to be true. Apparently I have gained 10.4 lbs over the last 24 hours ?!?!? Clearly no scales can be trusted.

I'm a little confused. Surely 700 grams is 300 grams short of a kilogram ?
I use imperial measurements. You know where you are with stones and pounds.
Weighed myself this morning, though Friday is my usual day, and see I'm 12st 6 lbs. That's well on target.
