You don't have to live without them. Just cut down on them.
If you want to lose weight then drop your carbs,up your fats and up your protein if you don't then carry on as you are but I can tell you that weighing and dropping your carbs along with exercise will yield impressive results if you keep at it. If you fancy carb look into low carb breads, flour, biscuits etc.. But consistency is key of you want that beach babe body or just a healthier lifestyle, mind body and more energy tho it's a tough road but then so is Everest but look at the view at the top.
Agreed ^^^
I cut down the carbs 18 months ago and lost 30 kilos.
....think I'd give "wee scones" a miss...!
Also keep an eye on your portion sizes.
Never quite understood why so many people on here pretend not to know the definition of that word, unless they were looking for the jokes topic.

Can only agree with everyone else JjConne - first step, alter your shopping list - if they aren't in the cupboard you won't be as tempted.
mamy...at no time did I pretend not to know the meaning of the word "wee".
However, because I am English, I find it's use rather strange, if not comical.

I agree....I can't stand the word "wee."
Apologies if my reply seemed terse but I have seen it mocked in serious (or semi serious) topics so often and very often to the same few posters that have grown up with it - it seems unnecessary to be picked up on.

Different as I say in Jokes or Chatterbank.
Apologies jj for causing a digression.
I did a kind of Atkins Diet with low carbs (30 a day) about two years back. I lost about 50 pounds. But (there's always a but!), I became lethargic and couldn't do the simplest of tasks without tiring. My doctor told me that I was slowly killing myself! I put about 30 back on, and it's creeping up again. I'm now trying a 5:2 version. Again with low carb on the 2 days. I think it might work. We shall see. Bread is out and the wee scones - there's a place in Florida that sells them, not that I have ever visited of course ;-) But you have to be strict about that. And pasta. In other words, everything that's nice! Bacon, eggs and cheese are OK though.
mamy....while I completely understand it's use in real conversation, I still find it's use odd in written posts..
Understood.

LOL......all your replies seem to start with an apology....and you know how i rate them..;-)
As highly as you rate me I imagine ;-)
Play nicely boys and girls.
