How long after pigging out

How long does it take to put weight on after over eating? If for example I had a huge pig-out meal massively over my calorie need when would the extra weight show on the scales?

Thanks baza so I've got a couple of days effort to wipe it off the slate!
It would most likely show up as water weight. It takes more time and more pigging out for weight-as fat-to actually appear on the body.
I'd notice it tomorrow morning
I can`t remember where the latest tests were carried out but I recently read that scientists now believe calories turn into fat much, much quicker than was previously thought. It could even be a matter of hours.
You can't change the past, but you can change the present.
Calories don't weigh anything, so if you "pigged out" on a two pound meal, the you would weigh 2 pounds extra ...immediately.
Wouldn`t most of that weight diminish though after going to the loo and sweating out the fluid? I found the article. It was researched by Oxford scientists and was in the Mail on 13th May (I wish I could do links). It`s quite interesting.
With me, the next day, definitely !
You could always work it off, I'm sure your husband would help nudge nudge wink wink.

Sadly I've been (mainly) walking it off Tony! I've lost 8lbs just in preparation for pulling on half a bikini soon but I have wondered! I know if ate 2lbs in weight of doughnuts I would be immediately 2lbs heavier sqad but I'm sure that would convert to more than 2lbs of body weight if I did nothing else.
MY OH tony, not got a hubby !!!
It doesn't seem to work for him though, he could do with shedding a few pounds .....
Only half a bikini, which half will be naked ?
He's not trying hard enough chaptazbru.
