Massive hugs from Hughes Towers!

I think we often hurt more for our children than we doi for ourselves, because we are powerless to make them feel better, which as parents is our instinct.

Rationally, we know that they will get hurt in life - it's part of being human, but emotionally it's very hard to see, and feel unable to help, even though we try our best.

Hugs make the world go round - there should be a lot more of them everywhere!
Question Author
andy-hughes, you never said truer words - as parents we just want to take all the hurt on ourselves, even when they are adults. Thank you for your words.
You are most welcome.
