I'm not anti-Royal but I really do not have much interest in the forthcoming Royal wedding.

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm alone in this, anyone else feel the same?

Yep...
im not at all bothered by it either.
i shall take kids out for the day or something and hope that everywhere is quiet as people are glued to the TV

not a royalist, but..................i will watch to see what everyone is wearing
I'd rather perform bowel surgery on myslf with a stick than watch yet another royal wedding
do they care about us???...do they hell as like...why should we celebrate??? they are so far removed from the way the uk is at the moment...dont they know people are worried about everything from mortgage repayments to the price of petrol, millions are losing their jobs...people are not in the mood to celebrate with the millionaire jet set...
I will admit, I have absolutely no interest in the royal wedding, it will be another boring bank holiday :(
Couldn't give a t0ss about any of it. It'll make no earthly difference to my life one way or t'other so why should I care?

Load of rollox!

Mmm, interesting responses!

I'm simply ambivalent towards the whole shebang. In common with Anne I'm probably more interested in what folk are wearing.

Fortunately we have plans for the day and will be well away from London and media coverage.
I do!!

I am only interested in the time off work!
I am so interested I cant even tell you when it is!!!
I am definitely anti. I am convinced it is engineered by the Government to be at a time when our lives are at a low ebb. It is for the masses - to cheer them up. And it's a sleight of hand trick. While everyone (not me) is busy staring at two quite ordinary (they haven't really got blue blood you know, despite what you may have been told) people getting married the Government will slip through a couple of controversial laws. Most people will not even notice this until all of a sudden it affects them. Too late!
It isn't as if he is next in line to the throne. His father and the Rottweiller have to have a go first. i really hope Camilla doesn't become Queen.
Camilla as Queen Mother?
After QE2 pops off this mortal coil, can't we just get shot of the rest of 'em?
excellent idea.alba, turn all their properties into social housing.
Considering that Camilla was the reason for the divorce I would imagine she is still unpopular, but I suppose Charles will get his own way and insist she is Queen instead of consort or whatever. If she is a lot of respect for the royal family will be lost.
I'm looking forward to it...........I think if Charlie snuffs it Wills will boot the rottweiler out.
Charles can do his Cornwall business with his veg, Andrew flies around on helicopters, Edward has (had) various arty things, Anne has her horsey things. They don't need our money anymore for their upkeep.
