Boats. At least once a day, dad looks on ebay and several other boat sales websites, he often wakes up saying he's dreamt about boats and has asked me to 'lend' him the money in my savings account.

Yes and this is an obsession, when I was revising for my exams he would push me off the computer, just to look on ebay etc.
