well spots are due to trapped dirt or oily skin, that kind of thing so probably not. most likely if you use a harsh product on your skin and your skin doesn't take too kindly to that kinda thing, then it will be a rash or an allergic reaction that forms, not spots.

I've got oily skin and, as a teenager, always used the super spot fighting, harsh products and didn't have much success.  A friend suggested using something gentler and my skin actually improved.  Apparently (I've since read) your skin reacts to being "stripped" by harsh cleansers by producing even more oil so you end up in a vicious cycle.  Although my skin is by no means perfect even now, I have found a combination of gentle face wash, non-comedogenic moisturiser and not wearing foundation to give the best results.

cheers for your posts.

i've been using a really harsh facial scrubb on my skin which was for everyday use. it was good at first but i got these tiny little spots all over my face and i hardly ever get spots. thanks to your posts it's now making sense and now that facial srubb is going straight in the BIN!

thanks again
