Neimans-Pic Type c

A friend has had a sad death of her 4week old baby.It was from a rare Neimans -Pic type C.What is this and what did it affect in the new born baby.

Actually Niemann-Pick, Type C... very rare, see read here ...

Thats really sad Hughes. I know from experience as my baby grandson died from a metabolic disorder but they were unable to determine exactly what it was. You feel you want all the answers but none of it makes sense. Please try to support your friend as much as you can. My friends and family helped me get through what was the hardest time of my life. I never realised how physical grief could be. Sorry I dont know anything about the disorder you mention but just wanted to pass on my sympathy.
