Do you need to show a dog's vaccination certificate at shows? Also when they are a year old and coming up to the first booster, is it due on the dog's birthday or eight weeks after?

No you don't need to show a vaccination certificate. Some training classes do require them though. There used to be a veterinary inspection at shows before you could even go in, but that was stopped years ago. They still do this abroad though.
Boosters would be due one year from when last done, although of course they do not run out exactly a year to the day from when they were last done! See the other thread on vaccinations, general concensus is that they do not need to be done every year, and some vets now even agree that it can be done every two or three years. You can have a blood test to check the titre levels to see if they need doing.
