Has anyone had laser eye treatment and is it any good?
Does it last for ever or do your eyes still deteriorate as you get older?

My husband had the treatment about 10 yrs ago and still does not need glasses anymore. He was told that the natural ageing deterioration would still happen, but so far so good. And this was a man who couldnt get out of bed until he'd put his glasses on!
You should call your local clinic and ask for personal advice on your eyes - everyone is different after all.
I had my eyes lasered 5 years ago and I still have 20/20 vision. I had astigmatism and couldn't see my hand in front of my face prior to the procedure. I'd thoroughly recommend it! Although they do warn you that laser treatment will not prevent deterioration in vision caused by the normal ageing process so it is possible for future deterioration to happen over the years.

Thanks Pam and foodluva I suppose I need to find out where my nearest reputable clinic is. I will ask at my opticians next time I go for my eye test.
