Hearing Coronation Street music always reminds me of sitting with my gran and watching it in black and white. Is there anything still going now that takes you back?

Lavendar perfume in a tiny funny shaped bottle!
Hi bigmamma, I remember going to a Dr Who exhibition in Manchester, Lewis's I think? The daleks terified me, they were roped off , but still have vivid memories of that.
garden time!! used to be on at lunchtime at the weekend
I can still hear the theme tune

russ abbotts madhouse, 321, mr and mrs, crossroads (loved that!!) chocky, the krypton factor, new faces, surprise surprise (I used to sing the theme!) the mini pops, play school, playaway, police 5 with shaw taylor!


doctor who was really scary, but I was more scared of the opening titles and the music than the show!!

cazzz - talking of Play Away, I've got an uncle Brian who we never saw. (Still don't really!) Because I knew only one Brian - Brian Cant from Play Away - I was convinced he was my uncle. Years later, when I saw my REAL uncle, I was traumatised, totally shattered!!

Cazz born in the mid sixties? we watched the same stuff.

Wrights coal tar soap, Corrie, The Rockford files ... the first programme on our COLOURED tv was Cannon, we then got hooked on Petrocelli. The opening note of Hill street Blues and I still think lets be careful out there!

Solid toilet block always make me think of me Grannies Main Street flat in small town Scotland. Oh for the days when Quality Street were our Christmas Treat, and a packet of Candy ciggies each if we were lucky.
I loved bonfire parties when i was young, the smell of a bonfire brings me straight back to when I was young, especially if abba are playing as well!
