Feel I may have been too hasty.

As some of you will know my husband is having a mid life crisis and I asked him to leave to think things through. I have found sites about MLC and it is like a sort of illness. I am so worried I may have pushed him away by asking him to leave and wonder if it would have been better if he had stayed even though he was making lots of excuses for being in late from work etc. I would love to hear from anyone who has experienced this and come through it.

maggie, you asked him to leave and he left, to me it sounds like that`s what he wanted to hear, surely he would have objected if he had nothing to hide so to speak

I think you`ve been brave to make the first move rather than him walk out on you at a later date, only time will tell if you`ve made the wrong decision but it`s been done now, the ball`s in his court, see how things pan out in the coming weeks

ps, enjoy the wedding cos you`ve been looking forward to it for bloody ages, as for a MLC, I`ve not reached that age yet so I can`t help you on that ;o)

Elvis I hope you never do reach it. In as much that not everyone suffers with it. For your wifes sake if nothing else. I feel I have played into his hands but pray he sees sense. Hopefully when he hears my daughter take her vows he may jolt his memory. He always said his vows were meant for life. It just hurts like hell at the moment. I am trying to focus on the wedding.
Maggie,I hope i never get it, I`ve never been happier since I moved to the countryside, kids are settled at their new school, job`s going well, even the dog`s stopped humping everyone now!

I really hope things work out for you, if there`s a DJ at the wedding reception ask him to play the song you and your hubby had at your wedding, then ask him to dance (hubby not the DJ)...you never know!

good luck ;o)
