Breathe out very slowly through your nose. I mean so slowly only the odd bubble escapes. Unless of course it's while you are swimming where you should breathe out more quickly through your nose

Marguerite02, try a nose clip. It's the only way I can do it! I've tried and tired and tried to do that, Sherry1, but I still can't get my head round the fact that my nose has holes, the water's outside and water flows into holes. My husband says its psychological, but I just can't!
Practise.
