I agree with you,I don't cheat so that is 100% of a poll of one that doesn't cheat, Ray

I been married twice, both my wives have cheated on me but I never cheated on them. I would say about 75% of men and 50% of women.
Why is the statistic so high? Is it because fidelity is more important in western culture than others? Obviously its something we have to learn, which lends itself to the notion that being faithful isnt a natural state of human thinking.
He's probally talking about himself and his mates.A bit of Boasting methinks.Dont Imagine that all of us males are the same..!! must go..the doorbells going...the misses has just gone to work, and that sort from no 29 wants a massage again...hehe..!!(:-)
90%????? Good god it can't be that high surely!!
not sure if that's right seems a bit high i know loads of guys in relationships who are faithfull, but on the other side i've just been talking to a girlfriend who is having an affair with a married man and just found out he is cheating on her as well!, how on earth does he find the time?
Hi pink, no way is it that high, where do these "statistics" come from ?
Is that 90% do in every relationship, or 90% have at some point?
I have done shamefully back in my teens about 7 years ago, but I wouldn't now. Guess it also depends on your definition of cheating.
honestly and truthfully, what guyshere have been unfaithful to their current wife/partner?? God Im worried now! lol
i dont cheat i found my soulmate, bestfriend. the only woman i have/will ever love.
The most commonly quopted figure is that 60% of men are unfaithfull and 40% of women are.

I dont know whether that 40% of women are being unfaithful with that 60% of men or not.

If so would that make them more unfaithful?
I agree with VINNY, boasting, bravado call it what you will, its just so the 'guy' you are referring to has got an excuse for why he cheats! Looks better for him if he generalises, and anyone listening to him accepts it as normal.

No way !! 90% Pah !!
talk about f***ing ironic!
I'm a bloke, and I've never cheated. However, I have been cheated on twice so what's that in statistics?

Fact is, statistics are at best questionable and at worst downright lies.
Ingram, I know that it's a statistic and if it's true then God help us all but I'd say who cares what the stats say? Trust the guy you're with and don't worry about the stats otherwise you'd never trust anyone again! It's quite depressing though to see it in black and white but it's all about how much you trust your partner.
I agree with that percentage! Honestly... read a book called 'What men don't want women to know' but Smith and Doe! It gives you a whole new outlook!
By* Smith and Doe... not But! Lol
Not necessarily Mdoo.... maybe the guys are cheating with the single women!!!
I was serially unfaithful to my first wife but that relationship was in deep trouble before we even got married. My present wife is a bit unique in that she doesn't mind if I have sex with another woman as long as it's not a relationship ( just sex, no affection), but to date ( 9 years) I haven't because I love her and don't want to. I gravely doubt I'll ever do so either. I think 90% is a ridiculous statistic plus surely that would be men across the board 18-80 and men go through stages in their lives. What I thought was acceptable in my 20's I'd never dream of doing now, so I think the statistic is totally unreliable.
