A friend got injured during oral sex and needed 2 stitches. From a girl with her tongue pierced my question is how he could get cut so bad he needed stitches.

Far more likely is that it was the (and I can't guarantee to remember spell this correctly) 'frenellum', oft referred to as the 'banjo string' that connects the head of the penis to the shaft. It's quite fragile apparently, and doesn't take much to tear it.


I recall at college seeing my flatmate's girlfriend come screaming out of his room literally covered in scarlet after catching this taut piece of skin on a tooth. He was none too pleased either...

LOL Elvis. I once had a game petite girlfriend with a small mouth and very sharp teeth, it did nothing for our relationship! As kids we were told not to put things in our mouths, why do we never listen to our parents?

Tightness of the frenulum is a genetic 'disorder' and has affected me and my brothers. I have managed to ping my banjo string twice. One brother did it in his girlfriends parents front room, spraying blood all over the walls and his white jeans. Luckily the wallpaper was washable. The pain is fairly intense, similar to a torn finger nail, but with a longer lasting effect.

I think it is actually the ligaments down the side that snaps. I know that it can happen, but have only heard about third or fourth hand of it actually doing so.


Pretty good self defence lesson to teach the ladies!
