Just turned the swampy on, the house will be cool by the time Mrs Oz gets home.

Is it a dry heat or a humid heat?

Dry heat, can't handle humid, tried and failed badly.

Does it ever get hot where you live?

PS: that's an innocent question,,

Our heatwave last year lasted 3 days with heat of 31, generally during the summer it rarely goes above 25

38 isn't unusual during summer, sometimes hotter.
Minus a few isn't unusual during winter, sometimes colder, but nearly always dry.

I love rain!!!

You should live here in Northern Ireland we get rain at lot probably 10 months a year

Then I'd learn to hate rain and love heat!!

Is there a happy medium somewhere?

Probably not lol I think as humans we are never happy with our lot!
I would like spring to hurry up so that I can start planning my garden

And here I am looking forward to winter, less heat, less gardening.

I would love more heat but without the burnt skin if I don’t wear high enough sunscreen!!
So I have to go into the office today to do some leaving paperwork urgh

I know just been spoilt not working for last 7 months

I'm spoilt too.
Haven't had a full time job for 6 years.
Too young for a pension, young enough for a partime income.

I have 17 years before I can retire for government pension or 6 with private pension
