An eco-friendly alternative to avocado. Would you eat it it? I admit, I'm not tempted.

dezeen's one of my fave websites, but usually for architecture. I'm not so sure about "designed food"

I can't really see the point of putting the fake stone in it really.

I would give it a go to be honest as the avocados that I have had recently have been plain disgusting either rock hard or rotting in middle

fair point, Redhelen. A properly hand-crafted artisan ecovado could well be an improvement.

As far as the fake stone goes - look to them becoming bigger while the price remains the same #skimpflation

Natural Avocados are truly an asset to one's diet.

It makes trying to put together a guacamole a nightmare. This might be a decent alternative.

I had some too hard/too mushy avocados early spring. But lately they've been fine. Some have a skin that seems to stay hard no matter what's happening inside. I cut off the top of one like that the other day...hard as a rock so I left it on the window sill for 2 or 3 more days. I always have several at various stages of ripeness.
