Wednesday, Still warm this morning. It was blowing an 'ooligan through the night, but it's all calm now. I hope it stays that way.

I must be away at eight, go to Thornbury to pick up my mate, then to Stroud for the Cotswold Boat Mobility AGM in the Council chamber. The A38 still closed at Berkeley bridge for another couple of days, the minor roads are busy so a big detour to avoid all that nonsense means a ten mile detour, but it will be quicker. All good fun innit...not.

All good thanks. Spent today cleaning the innards of Mrs Ozzy's car. Gets full of dust in no time flat, part and parcel of being a "redneck". ;-)

We now have "Doris", battering away at the trees. They should have called it Dorothy a la Wizard of Oz. Perhaps it will scoop me up and transport me to the yellow brick road? I'd fit in well with the Munchkins. I'd be their tallest citizen. That would make a nice change!

I've had some evil stomach bug for 3 days. Constant nausea, headache and tiredness. (Poor Rufus). My sister has been worse by all accounts. We must have caught it from someone at the Paramount. Inconsiderate, going out in public and spreading something like that!
