Hi Mally - still in a lot of pain I'm afraid. Visit to fracture clinic tomorrow so hopefully they can supply a better sling to support my arm than the collar and cuff I have at present. Thanks for asking. X
Question Author
shame you don't live down here as I have a fracture clinic appointment tomorrow afternoon x
:-)) how are you now?
Hope all the fractured bones heal painlessly and soon. :-)
Question Author
I can lift my arm up to chest height now ,still painful and my arm looks a bit deformed where they cut the muscle to put one of the tendons right ,hopefully they will tell me tomorrow the bone has knitted and the screw is still in place xx
Question Author
right pair aren't we lol x
Fingers crossed for you Mally let me know how you get on. Normal wait at our clinic is at least 3 hours - don't know why they bother to o give you an appointment! I've got a wonderful multi-coloured bruise spreading from shoulder to just under my elbow.
Thanks Danny x
gosh, Mally, didn't know you'd been in the wars too.

Do hope all goes well with fracture clinics and a speedy recovery to you and Margo xx

lol albaqwerty I fell out the back door trying to shoo a cat that was squatting to do toilet in the garden,i disconnected tendons and one pulled the bone away .
flipping heck, mally, if you're going to go and fall like that, may as well make a good job of it.

I've heard citrus fruit and/or clear plastic bottles of water will keep a cat away, but don't know if that's correct.

(alba, please, life's too short for albaqwerty lol)
Question Author
do you chuck them at the cats lol x
LOL never thought of that, don't think the older alba would be too happy if I lobbed things at his moggy.
Try a water pistol, I've heard a lot of fun can be had with one :-)

how did clinic go Margo xx
Just got back Mally. The bone has moved since last Tuesday and he was mulling over an operation to put a plate in, but said that research has proved that in most cases it is best left. It's a bad break just below ball and socket joint. Back to clinic in 3 weeks xx still in a lot of pain
Question Author
poor you ,did you get a better sling x
No he said this one was the right on for the job as it allows the elbow to drop to pull the bone down. How did you get on today Mally?
