Try a magnesium supplement.
On the occasions it happens to me I find I drop off sooner or later. I don't note it when asleep.
I agree about magnesium. I get restless legs and also cramp and find that taking calmagzinc tablets for a few days deals with both.
Your condition is also known as Willis-Ekbom Disease... you can Google this term and consider the study involving Vitamin D supplement. Mrs. C literally cured her RLS with doctor recommended exercise earlier in the day... nothing strenuous, mainly walking, although she does this thing with stair climbing about 30 minutes before bedtime. BTW, the Doc also recommends a set routine, especially about a standard time to go to bed...
Difficult one to deal with. I have heard magnesium helps. I do know that antidepressants will cause it in a lot of people.
