I doubt any sort of note would work, some people just don't care. Unless you can get the overall manager to put up a notice saying something along the lines of 'use the facility properly, wash up after yourselves or the privilege will be withdrawn.the other option is to nominate one depArtment each day to be responsible for the kitchen. Not much you can do about the visitors though
You would be surprised Corylus. It's been a problem in every office I've ever worked in with me being the one that normally gives in and tidies up because I can't stand the mess. In one office they actually closed the kitchen and installed a vending machine and guess who moaned most about that - the people who caused the problem in the first place
I've see it myself in clinics, filthy tea/coffee stained mugs and mould growing in empty milk bottles piled up by the sink that had plenty hot water! I used to take sterilising solution (as in home brewing) to clean the stuff, if that didn't work the boss used to take the stuff home to wash them in her dishwasher. ? Job Description
