Can Someone Put Me Out Of My Misery Please
22 Answers
I am trying to remember the song and artist relating to a music video that I remember watching ages and ages ago.
It is a well known group (or should be) and they were sitting in cars in a traffic jam. There was a bridge. The song was about negative stuff - depression and, maybe, even suicide.
Any help appreciated and, meanwhile, I will get back to reading my Daily Mail.

Why not instead, reflect upon (as I am doing) how Campbell cat managed last night to eat her tea, then go outside and catch a pigeon within the next half hour, eat all of it bar the head and one wing and then still come home demanding treats (mind you she hasn't moved that much today....)

Campbell cat sounds like fun!
Young Francis (my handsome avatar) is going to the vet in the morning. I don't work so if I get up early and have a shower he will be suspicious and then vanish. They are indoor kitties but I have a big flat on two floors - with plenty of hidey holes.
I am trying to decide if I should have a shower before I go to bed. It is doing my nut in. We go every four weeks and it usually works out in the end.
murray - it was annoying me, I remember liking the song but couldn't remember enough to find it. When it came out I must have been feeling sad, low or whatever for it to lodge in my brain. That was back in the days before I was officially nuts and drugged up.
I am listening to Tom Waits just now

Campbell cat likes going to the vet (stands there and purrs).
Robbie, on the other hand, thinks if I as much as put the ladder up to go up to the loft it can only be for one reason which is to get the cat box down. This means wedging himself behind the bath for hours. I did try once to leave the box in the lounge for a week to accustom him to it, which just meant he spent the whole week in abject terror. So now, we go through a little rigmarole when he goes for his annual jabs where I put him outside before I get the box down, hide the box in the bathroom, shut the bathroom door, get him back him and put him in box asap.
Good luck with Francis tomorrow (he is indeed a very handsome boy)

Robbie is the one that was at the back of the queue when the brains were dished out. He's a bit OCD and deviation from the norm is very scary - electricity man came round to read the indoor meter the other day, so Robbie sprinted up the stairs, had further panic, sprinted back down the stairs past the EON man, wedged himself behind bath and refused to come out for the next half hour despite bribery with treats.
Campbell, on the other hand, saw EON man as potential friend who may have Dreamies/Webbox sticks in pocket therefore yowled a plea at him - didn't work.

These are my two morons. They are siblings from the same feral litter. I hope this works - I have been tinkering with the security on my photobucket account.

Beautiful kitties.
Campbell is in the avatar, she's about 3 years older than Robbie, no idea where she was born, the chav neighbours got a kitten and a pitbull on the same day, so asked them if they really wanted the kitten, 3 hours later they came round and gave her to us (the pitbull got put down a few weeks later after it had bitten a couple of people so don't think she would have survived if she'd stayed there)
Robbie is a little black cat who's eight now, and when my friends moved out of the house into their own place picked him up from a farm campsite in Robin Hoods Bay (with the owner's permission) - bribed him into their camper van with kippers and gave him to me as their leaving present. For a cat that came off a farm he's not that fond of going outside as it is a very scary place (happy to play in the garden if I'm out there with him or it's dark)
