I'm 15 and I've only had one serious boyfriend. When I say serious, we only went out for about 2 months. No-one seems to want to have a relationship with me yet all my friends are in long term relationships. What's wrong with me? All boys want with me is to be friends what's my problem!

Beth- don't worry about it. There is no hard and fast rule that says you should be in a serious relationship at your age. You say all your friends are in long term relationships, but I can guarantee that half of them will have split before the end of the year! Your teenage years are for experimenting, having fun and meeting new people, not for getting yourself tied down- there's plenty of time for that later!

And don't worry about being 'different' (even though you're not)- I'm 25 and still haven't had what I'd term a 'serious' relationship. Yes, I've had boyfriends, but my first wasn't until I was about 18 and didn't last too long! I'm free and single at the moment and perfectly happy.

Enjoy life and if the right boy comes along, you'll know about it, don't worry! Anyway, half your friends are probably jealous of you for having nobody else to worry about!

The best relationships start off as friends. There's nothing wrong with being friends. That way you can get to know them, see what they're really like and if you don't really like this or that about them at least you're not in a relationship with them.

Quite often with teenage boys they feel the whole relationship is a bit too committed and would much rather prefer friends. But often the boys fall in love with their friends because they find out how much they like you and then the attraction builds from there.

Beth Please don't worry, It'll all work out

girl listen to urself. ur 15 yrs old, theres plenty of time to get a boyfreind, u should live ur life and have fun and concentrate on gettin a bf when ur in ur mid 20's i wish thats wot i did, ive had diffrent bf's since i was 13, and i wish now that i just lived a little bit without a boy hanging over me,i did have a patch where i was bf-less, for about 18 months i didnt have a bf, and it was probably 1 of the best times in my life. uve got the rest of ur life ahead of u, just concentrate on school and ur career for the time being

oh mate! Don't worry about it!!! Im 21 and i've never had a 'serious' relationship but that I'm happy with that. I used to think the same as you but now the way I see it is that I'm having a lot of fun meeting people all the time and don't have to worry about what my boyfriend thinks. I look at all my friends who are in serious relationships and at our age (and especially age 15) it all seems a bit boring.

I can almost guarantee that most of your mates are thinking the same thing but there really is nothing to worry about. Your young and should be concentrating on having the best time of your life with your friends. whatever happens in between is just a bonus.

Beth1989 i am 20 and i am single... i love it... live your life to the full as it is now and worry about men in the future... they are too much hassle anyway ;o)
Don't worry at all hun. Things come along when you least expect it. I was just the same. I never had a long term relationship until I was almost 17. I met my bf at my job and we've been together ever since (4 and a half years). At 15 the last things you should be worrying about is not having a long term relationship. Just enjoy being who you are and the rest will follow! xx

A bit of different advice, if you really want a relationship now - look for older guys. Guys an girls mature at different ages, I don't know when it's said to even out but I think the figure was somewhere near 20.

You'll find this helps especially if you are mature for your age, when I was 15 my boyfriend was 18(2yrs 10months older) and whilst it worried my parents alot, we had a very happy 12 month realtionship. There are problems of course, perhaps they want different things, but as long as they respect you and your pace(I didn't lose my virginity till I was 17) you may find that's your answer.
