This boy who I have liked for ages is finally coming round next week but I am so nervous and worried about it I don't know what to do watch tv? go out do something? I really dont want there to be any silent moments because I hate them and I don't want to talk too much that it is a load of rubbish!

This means so much for me please any help out there?

im 16 and my parents are going to be there!
get a DVD out (a comedy one so you will both start to feel a bit more at ease). You can talk if you want through the DVD but if you find you have nothing to say then it doesnt matter because "your just watching the film". It is a bit nerve racking but you'll be fine!
Be yourself and tell him that is what you do at home, see if your dad will make friends with him so he will be comfortable in their presence. Just totally relax about it all. Think whether you would feel awkward at his house in the same way. You might at first but it wouldn't scare you off i don't suppose. so don't worry be happy!
how about going bowling or something??? then you can have a laugh etc at the same time.... maybe get your mum to drop you there or something so she knows you are safe x

I'd definitely agree with getting a DVD, or if not, the cinema. See a funny film which will ease the tension and put you both in a good mood, and it will give you something to talk about after!

Enjoy yourself but try to stay relaxed. And good luck! Lissy xxx

How did you get on? x
