I'm having lunch with a lovely friend I havent seen for a little while and am really looking forward to it.
I start my new job next week!

I have joined a new ladies club called Butterflies it was only started 4 weeks ago and it gets me out of the house, next week we are all having lunch out instead of a meeting.

I got myself out of the Sugar at work, for something that was my fault! (no blame passed, just artistic license with my words).

(also) having lunch this week with a friend I haven't caught up with for a while.

OH finishing work early today so I'm going to cook him his favorite - curry.

Looking forward to taking the dog out in a minute and getting terrbily soaked in the pissing rain.

I broke OH's electric pepper mill ("that was a present from my parents") yesterday when it dropped on the floor. Today I've mended it with nail glue. Yay!

I had a day off on Friday so consequently have walked in to a shed load of emails.... however out outlook isn't working so I can't deal with a single one of them! :c)

I picked some lily of the valley flowers from my Mum's garden yesterday and the lovely smell that has just greeted me from my lounge cheered me up on this grotty wet morning!

On introducing wheelie-bins for recycling, the Council delivered THREE to my modest abode. After much telephoning and finally contacting the local councillor in desperation, two months later the 2 surplus bins went on their way this very morning!

I start a new work assignment tomorrow, which will hopefully bring 2 weeks of boredom to an end. Also just booked a surprise trip to Barcelona (not a surprise to me obviously, for the family).
