I have anxiety everyday of my life and it tends to disrupt everything. With every good thought I have, god knows how many bad thoughts follow it. Just wondered how you cope with anxious times.
The only thing that helps mine is tablets, and then need understanding friends and family who don't push me into the sort of things which bring it on. Mine's very specific so if not exposed to those types of situations (eg a crowded restaurant or the like).
hollie, I sympathise, I've been where you are - ask your GP for referral to a hypnotherapist. It's not nearly as scary as it sounds, it helped me to relax and stopped me worrying about things I can't control (which are often the things we worry about most)... it was a long slow process, but well worth it.
