Good morning early birds!

Sunday. Not a cloud in the sky this morning. I hope it stays that way. I'm off to the Wonky Donkey for lunch with friends today. If it's sunny the donkeys will be out. If it's wet, being sensible, they will be nice and warm and dry indoors.

Am pretty good. has been a crappy few months but getting much better. Yesterday was quite nice but then we had this mad rainstorm. managed
to take a photo of a double rainbow!

I'm glad things are looking up for you smow. Double rainbows are lovely aren't they! Did you notice the in the fainter one the colours are reversed?

No I didnt! Will have to have a look later. But the sky between the 2 rainbows was black and outside was blue!

Didnt last long - 5 mins afte I too the photo it had gone! still dark here - think the clocks go back in a fortnight so it will be a tad lighter in the morning for a few weeks anyway. Winter makes for such a long evening doesnt it!

It does indeed. I wish they would stop mucking about with the time. There is no need for it these days.

It's just beginning to get light along the hilltop. Looks like some sunshine on it's way! :o}

Lol we have ( well son has) acquired a rabbit. God know why at aged 13( son not rabbit lol). So when son gets up and takes cover off hutch and opens door then rabbit bounds out like he has been released from prison and bounds up and down the garden leaping in the air. It is the funniest sight ever. And I know its just a rabbit, but she looks so happy and excited that it makes me smile.

Wonderful smow! It's great to see an animal having fun isn't it, just enjoying pure pleasure.

It is! thats just it. when he came home with the rabbit I had never had one so got a book and it said it had to be out of the hutch for at least 4 hrs a day. well I thought she wont like being shut away for 20 hrs so she is out of hutch from waking till going to bed. Sadly for our 2 cats she has now sussed the cat flap! so she just leaps in and jumps on the sofa lol

arf arf arf I love it! My boys had rabbits many years ago now. One of them was the most beautiful bunny. He won pet shows without trying. He would be let out first thing and do the same as yours, but with the dog. They would chase each other round the garden and it would end up with a pile of legs and ears in the middle of the lawn fast asleep. In the evening the dog would sit on the patio with the rabbit between his front paws, just enjoying the evening. If a cat was daft enough to come over the fence it would get duffed up by the rabbit. The dog just sat and watched! We called the rabbit Thugs bunny. A reai hooligan!

Awww I would have loved to have seen that. Our 2 cats are mother and daughter (9 and 7). they are both fine with rabbit in same room,garden etc but when she bounces up to them to play the elder one hisses at her and swipes a paw at her. younger one just walks away, bunny just wants to play!

I used to love watching them. A most unlikely friendship, but it was wonderful to see. I can just picture your cats with the bunny.
